A music genius kept in the shadows!

Hello folks, how you all doing? Now you know me, i'm always on the look out for the next big thing in music and the music at the moment in the charts is all vanilla and blurghhhh. You know what i mean, it's all so correct and nice, it's either about a break up and i don't need you anyway or its your the most beautiful and best thing ever, todays music is woah is me or i'm the best thing ever, in other words CRAP!

Out from the darkness of the woke generation comes a antidote to all this bland nonsense music.......WESLEY WILLIS! Who unfortunately is dead, in fact he died in 2003 and was a paranoid schizophrenic but i've only just come across this rock god by accident.

He has written such classics as:

"I whipped Batman's ass"

"Suck a caribou's ass"

"The Chicken Cow"

"Nirvana"

"Suck a cheetahs dick"

"Foo Fighters"

And the list goes on. You can find all of his songs online through youtube and such like but here are few of my favs for you to listen to and enjoy like i did........

Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce to you, the late, great, Wesley Willis, I THANK YOU!

Firstly a song about my fav band "Foo Fighters":-

And the classic "I whipped Spidermans ass":-

Who can forget "Rock n Roll McDonalds" :-

The timeless lyrics of "Elvis Presley"

Who can forget "Nirvana" :-

Keeping with the classic music theme i thought i would share with you a few covers that i've found and really like. Sometimes you hear a cover version and you think "Good God, why?" like this one:-

But then some come along and you think "Wow, that's different but great", so here are the best ones out the many i've found.

Florence and the Machine - "Times like these" (Original Foo Fighters)

Johnny Cash - "Hurt" (Original Nine Inch Nails)

Madlyn Bailey - "Radioactive" (Original Imagine Dragons)

Smashin Pumpkins - "Never let me Down" (Original Depeche Mode)

Disturbed - "Sound of Silence" (Original Simon and Garfunkel)

Within Temptation - "Titanium" (Original Sia & David Guetta)

Foo Fighters - "Band on the run" (Original Wings, Check out the album Medium Rare by Foo's)

There are so many great covers but most seem to be slowed down versions of the originals which is fine for that chill out moment.

Just a quick music update as I had to put Wesley Willis out there for the world to hear. I think i read somewhere he had written over 1000 songs and released up to 50 albums which he funded himself, he's a more prolific song writer than Prince.

So until my next update of nonsense.......

Serve All, Love All, Peace All, Kevlar Out!
